About the role
- Support our coverage of healthcare industry developments across Asia-Pacific, with a particular focus on Mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong
- Help track and analyze healthcare policy reforms, healthcare payment and reimbursement policies, and compile and update public healthcare datasets monthly
- Conduct ongoing research and analysis, with a focus on secondary research
- Contribute to meaningful research outputs, including policy translation summaries, data tracking reports, policy research papers, and visual materials (e.g., charts, PowerPoints)
- Receive daily coaching, feedback, and support as part of our collaborative, meritocratic team culture
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail, execution efficiency, critical thinking skills, and ability to quickly grasp new concepts
- Excellent communication skills in English (writing, editing, and presenting)
- Demonstrated research experience, including finding and validating information, building hypotheses, dealing with complex/technical materials, and understanding different sources of information is required
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, international relations, business, public health, healthcare management, or related fields is preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge and/or interest in global healthcare systems through academic and/or professional research experience is preferred, but not required
- Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel; ability to create simple, clean charts and presentations
- Demonstrated knowledge of key regional languages (Mandarin/Cantonese) through academic and/or professional research experience. An understanding of the current socio-political and economic environment in the region is particularly key
- Experience in managing multiple projects, working on tight deadlines, and working relatively independently in remote work setting
- Demonstrated ability to cover a variety of topics and issues, including completely new topics
