About the role
- The Associate I supports core operational and client‑service activities within the Global Asset Administration team.
- Review, analyze, and interpret funding‑related documentation and correspondence to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Process loan settlements and account‑level transactions in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Perform high‑risk servicing tasks, including payment and research corrections, loan payoffs, fee processing, modifications, and account closures.
- Research and resolve internal and external inquiries, providing clear, timely, and service‑focused support across phone, email, and workflow systems.
- Conduct quality reviews on loan records and processing activities to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Monitor daily reports, follow up on outstanding items, and maintain thorough case documentation.
- Accurately enter and update data, routing items requiring specialist review and escalating complex issues with complete case notes.
- Build foundational knowledge of products, systems, and processes to address inquiries and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Maintain a strong customer‑service mindset, adapting to evolving processes and contributing to a seamless client experience.
- Collaborate with internal partners—including operations, product, risk, and technology—to resolve escalated or complex concerns.
- Meet defined performance standards for quality, productivity, and attendance.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and recommending process or documentation enhancements.
Requirements
- Typically, up to 2 years’ experience in banking/finance industry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including basic Excel skills
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to read and interpret credit agreements and related loan documents
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to exercise sound judgment, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively
- Self‑starter who takes initiative and ownership of responsibilities
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Consistently meets deadlines, targets, and scheduling requirements with flexibility
