About the role

  • The Associate I supports core operational and client‑service activities within the Global Asset Administration team.
  • Review, analyze, and interpret funding‑related documentation and correspondence to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Process loan settlements and account‑level transactions in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Perform high‑risk servicing tasks, including payment and research corrections, loan payoffs, fee processing, modifications, and account closures.
  • Research and resolve internal and external inquiries, providing clear, timely, and service‑focused support across phone, email, and workflow systems.
  • Conduct quality reviews on loan records and processing activities to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Monitor daily reports, follow up on outstanding items, and maintain thorough case documentation.
  • Accurately enter and update data, routing items requiring specialist review and escalating complex issues with complete case notes.
  • Build foundational knowledge of products, systems, and processes to address inquiries and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Maintain a strong customer‑service mindset, adapting to evolving processes and contributing to a seamless client experience.
  • Collaborate with internal partners—including operations, product, risk, and technology—to resolve escalated or complex concerns.
  • Meet defined performance standards for quality, productivity, and attendance.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and recommending process or documentation enhancements.

Requirements

  • Typically, up to 2 years’ experience in banking/finance industry
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including basic Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem‑solving abilities
  • Ability to read and interpret credit agreements and related loan documents
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to exercise sound judgment, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively
  • Self‑starter who takes initiative and ownership of responsibilities
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Consistently meets deadlines, targets, and scheduling requirements with flexibility
