Automate routine data processing tasks to ensure timely availability of information.
Monitor and troubleshoot data integration issues to maintain data reliability.
Contribute to the design and implementation of FIRST's data warehouse structure.
Create and maintain dimensional models, fact tables, and reporting views.
Implement data partitioning, indexing, and query optimization techniques.
Support data governance initiatives through proper metadata management.
Collaborate with data engineers to ensure alignment between data architecture and reporting needs.
Engage with business users to understand reporting requirements and analytical needs.
Translate business questions into technical specifications for reports and dashboards.
Provide guidance on best practices for data visualization and interpretation.
Validate solutions with stakeholders to ensure they meet business objectives.
Document business requirements and technical implementations for knowledge sharing.
Research and evaluate emerging BI tools and technologies.
Propose improvements to existing reporting processes and solutions.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in business intelligence development
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or related field
Strong proficiency with Tableau
Experience with SQL and data manipulation languages
Knowledge of ETL processes and tools
Understanding of data warehouse concepts and dimensional modelling
Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into effective BI solutions
Experience working with financial and operational data in a business context
Certifications in relevant BI platforms or data technologies
Experience with Cloud-based data platforms
Knowledge of Python, R, or other programming languages for advanced analytics
Familiarity with the event management industry or professional services sector
Understanding of AI and machine learning concepts as applied to business analytics
Experience with Agile development methodologies
