About the role

  • The Business Development & Partnerships Lead will architect and scale a high-impact channel partnerships function that fuels First Stop Health’s next growth phase.
  • You will carry a quota and serve as a player-builder: actively closing deals while building the foundation for a scalable BD org.
  • This role reports to the Chief Growth & Strategy Officer.
  • Key Responsibilities: Revenue Ownership and Channel Growth
  • Carry a $2.5–3M revenue quota in 2026, growing to $5–6M+ by 2027
  • Own and close deals across four BD partnership tracks: resellers, preferred vendor programs, new channels, and broker amplification
  • Strategic Partnership Design
  • Structure partnerships that enhance — not cannibalize — our broker-led sales model
  • Design incentive alignment, territory protection, and co-creation frameworks
  • Operationalizing Partnerships Function
  • Create systems for sourcing, pitching, contracting, onboarding, management, and performance measurement.
  • Manage current channel partners alongside Customer Success organization
  • Draft playbooks, reporting dashboards, and onboarding workflows
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, Solutions Consulting, and Product
  • Ensure seamless go-to-market alignment and integrated partner engagement
  • Team Building and Leadership
  • Lay the foundation for a 3–4 person BD team, including role definition and enablement plans by 2027

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 10+ years in BD, partnerships, channel sales, or GTM roles
  • Track record of closing 7-figure partnerships in healthcare, digital health, or SaaS
  • Experience designing channel programs aligned to direct sales
  • Exposure to partner onboarding, reseller models, and performance tracking
  • Bonus: Experience in PE-backed growth orgs or early-stage BD buildouts
  • Strong communicator — strategic in vision, precise in execution
  • Ability to balance execution and orchestration — can pitch, close, and scale systems
  • Comfort working cross-functionally and influencing without authority
  • Commercially sharp and operationally disciplined
  • Fluency in employer benefits broker channel preferred
