Provide ongoing program planning, analysis, and administrative support to Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Program supporting expeditionary medical system modernization.
Support Government contracts and program execution of Navy Expeditionary Medical capabilities.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned medical system(s) and facilitate modernization planning, strategy development, and coordination of system/equipment upgrades.
Support equipment life cycle management by conducting authorized medical equipment list analyses and tracking metrics such as return costs, approval rates, responsible growth, and integrated logistics support requirements.
Participate in equipment allowance list reviews and validation efforts; support development of final decision documents to codify equipment list decisions.
Coordinate with Expeditionary Medical Logistics Units (EMLUs) and Biomedical Equipment Technicians (BMETs) to develop and brief medical equipment maintenance and modernization documents and strategies.
Develop, maintain, and plan logistics for medical system outfitting onboard assigned Navy platforms.
Apply logistics management principles during development of engineering Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) plans and documentation; identify supply shortfalls and cost saving initiatives.
Support configuration management of assigned systems, Provisioning Parts Lists (PPLs), Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD), and Supplemental Provisioning Technical Documentation (SPTD) for submission into managed databases.
Interface with stakeholders, contract/subcontract teams, Project Managers, and external customers.
Provide input to and review planning documents such as Technical Data Plans, Operational Requirements, Advance Procurement Plans.
Participate in system requirements and design reviews, configuration management board reviews, engineering analysis tests, inspections, demonstrations, provisioning and training plan working groups.
Support preparation of formal Program Management briefings and status reports using Microsoft applications.
Participate in working groups, product IPTs, test events, test reviews, and product demonstrations.
Work independently or in small teams; use problem-solving skills and adapt quickly to changing priorities while mentoring and leading technical reviews as necessary.
Hybrid work schedule combining remote and on-site work to provide flexibility while ensuring mission success.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years relevant experience in DoD/Navy Modernization Processes, and Medical Logistics.
Associate degree and 8+ years relevant experience in DoD/Navy Modernization Processes, and Medical Logistics.
Active SECRET security clearance.
Travel: local to within the Washington D.C. area. 10% required. May require CONUS travel (e.g. Williamsburg, VA; Little Creek, VA).

Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively within military chain of command with excellent communication (oral and written) and organizational skills.
Ability to collaborate/work well with others.
Able to conduct database management (SharePoint).

Must be willing to support leadership in mentoring non-engineers and lead technical reviews as necessary.
