  • First American is seeking candidates for an engineering role in our Platform Engineering team.\n
  • An ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, a product mindset, and takes a code-first approach for driving engineering best practices.\n
  • As a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer, you will help design and implement our technical architecture, governance, and tooling used to deliver and operate the First American Cloud.\n
  • The ideal candidate will have a firm grasp of Azure Networking, Security, PaaS platforms, and Governance with the ability to customize them to help our business remain secure and efficient.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in the Azure Cloud.\n
  • Alignment between Infrastructure as Code ( IaC ) and scripting with PowerShell/Bash/ ARM .\n
  • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps (ADO), Github Enterprise, or Gitlab .\n
  • Command of infrastructure automation tooling such as Terraform/OpenTofu .\n
  • Experience with one or more Azure SDKs and/or CLI .\n
  • Expertise in Azure infrastructure and cloud native services such as AKS, Application Gateways , and Application Service Environments .\n
  • Knowledge of various git patterns such as GitFlow and trunk-based development .\n
  • Bias towards w orking within a highly regulated industry such as Financial Services or Healthcare .\n
  • Technical Skills : PowerShell , Bash , YAML , AzCli. Azure Monitor. Azure Network Security and Firewalls. Azure PaaS and IaaS services. Azure Networking - VNET/ExpressRoute/VPN gateway/Virtual WAN. Azure Governance and Access Control tools and best practices. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong relationship, collaborative, and organization skills .
