Partner with site operational, mine planning, and maintenance teams to support smooth adoption and effective use of CAT technologies.
Optimize CAT technologies at mining sites through direct technical engagement.
Diagnose and resolve software, configuration, hardware, and networking issues.
Deliver technical documentation and mentoring to customer and Finning site teams.
Maintain and query system databases to extract operational insights.

Requirements

Minimum 3+ years in a technical support or operations role with strong troubleshooting skills.
Experience with mining technology systems preferred.
Post-secondary education in Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
Hands-on experience with major fleet management platforms (e.g., CAT MineStar, Wenco, Modular) including configuration, monitoring, and optimization.
Proficiency in SQL or similar database tools for querying, reporting, and data analysis.
Ability to create detailed operational and performance reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
Familiarity with networking protocols and positioning systems.
At least 2 years of field-based technical support or commissioning experience.
Prior exposure to mining operations or heavy civil construction is an asset.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
