• Build the commercial legal infrastructure that lets finmid contract at the speed its product ships.
• Be the main legal point of contact for our commercial and product teams.
• Operate behind every platform, borrower, and supplier contract.
• Architect systems that make contracting work repeatable.
• Collaborate closely with the General Counsel, the Head of Commercial, and product leads across Europe.
• Have autonomy while embedded with teams building, selling, and integrating the product.
• Work on unique problems without established playbooks.
• Own finmid's contract stack end-to-end across different types of agreements.
• Sit alongside product leads as new features develop and translate roadmaps into legal frameworks.
• Build the operating system for commercial legal at finmid, including a redline review workflow and a clause library.
• Run negotiations of third-party supplier agreements from various providers.
• Ensure regulatory compliance within commercial contracts and leverage AI tools for efficiency.

Operations

• Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Product, Risk) to resolve customer issues and ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Assist in customer onboarding, conducting business reviews, and improving operational processes under the guidance of the Business Ops Manager.
• Conduct market research and analyze data to inform strategic decisions and process improvements.
• Support the optimization of operational workflows to enable scalable growth.
• Identify challenges and propose actionable solutions to improve customer satisfaction, retention, and adoption.
• Build foundational skills in analysis, communication, and project coordination.
