Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation
Maintain clean, well-documented balance sheet reconciliations
Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
Maintain schedules for accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets
Take ownership of core transactional processes, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll, with a willingness to step in and execute when needed
Investigate and resolve account discrepancies
Support financial statement preparation, reporting, and audit readiness
Mentor junior accounting staff.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of accounting experience
Strong understanding of core accounting principles
Experience working with ERP systems
Experience supporting multi-state payroll processing and payroll tax compliance
Strong Excel skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize.
