Revenue Operations

• Oversee all revenue cycle functions, including charge capture, coding coordination, claims submission, payment posting, patient billing, collections, account reconciliation, and accounts receivable management.
• Monitor claims through final payment or resolution and ensure compliance with payer filing deadlines.
• Oversee resolution of complex or escalated claims, denials, underpayments, and payment issues.
• Coordinate with clinical and operational departments to resolve registration, documentation, coding, and charge-entry issues and delays.
• Develop, maintain, and improve billing procedures, workflows, and internal controls to support compliance and operational effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, commercial payer, and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) billing and reimbursement requirements.
• Prepare reports, analyses, and recommendations for leadership to improve revenue cycle performance and financial outcomes.
• Educate providers, managers, and staff on billing requirements, documentation standards, and revenue cycle best practices.

Revenue Cycle Manager

Community Health Worker

• Conduct outreach to agricultural worker homes, worksites, and community locations to promote access to health and social services
• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations and partners serving the agricultural worker population
• Serve as the point of contact for clinical staff during mobile medical visits for services including: Health screenings, immunizations, chronic care, reproductive health, etc.
• Provide interpretation, appointment scheduling, paperwork assistance, and patient education during outreach and mobile events
• Educate agricultural workers on payment assistance programs and collect required documentation
• Identify socio-economic issues that affect patients' overall health and develop health/social management plans and goals
• Assist patients in accessing healthcare and social service resources to address identified barriers
• Support care coordination through appointment scheduling, form completion, and chronic condition management
• Provide interpretation services during in-person and telehealth visits and advocate for patients during care interactions
• Conduct follow-up communication to review care plans and ensure patient understanding
• Communicate with care team members to maintain alignment on patient updates, concerns, and care objectives
• Inform patients via phone of scheduled pick-up time and location
• Coordinate or arrange transportation for medical appointments based on insurance eligibility, which may include direct patient transport when appropriate
• Record patient encounters, activities, and patient outcomes in the electronic health record system
• Address telephone encounters, actions, and referrals in the electronic health record system in accordance with Finger Lakes Community Health policies and procedures
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor
