About the role
- Lead the user-centred design process, conducting user research, creating user personas, and ensuring our products meet the needs and preferences of our target audience.
- Design intuitive and engaging user interactions, including wireframes, prototypes, and user flows, that enhance user satisfaction and usability.
- Create visually appealing, consistent, and on-brand designs that elevate the overall look and feel of our digital products.
- Plan and conduct usability testing sessions, analyse feedback, and iteratively improve our designs based on user insights.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to ensure seamless integration of design concepts and user requirements.
- Develop and maintain design guidelines and UI libraries to ensure consistency and scalability across all digital products.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
- Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a UX designer with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, InVision).
- In-depth knowledge of user-centred design principles and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of information architecture, interaction design, and usability best practices.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating findings into design improvements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Up-to-date with the latest UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Experience with mobile and responsive design is a plus.
- Familiarity with front-end development principles and capabilities is a plus.
