About the role

  • Plan, schedule, and manage end-to-end software releases across multiple environments (**Dev, SIT, QA, UAT, Production**).
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure release readiness and successful execution.
  • Own and continuously improve release management processes, standards, and governance.
  • Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate release-related risks and dependencies.
  • Ensure proper documentation, traceability, and compliance throughout the release lifecycle.
  • Monitor release health, manage rollbacks when needed, and support incident handling in collaboration with Operations and Support teams.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for stakeholders regarding release status, timelines, and risks.

Requirements

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • Strong understanding of **SDLC**, **Agile/Scrum** methodologies, and **CI/CD** practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of **Jira and Confluence**, including workflows, automations, and integrations in multi-environment setups.
  • Experience working in **complex infrastructures** with multiple parallel releases.
  • Solid understanding of **DevOps practices**, version control systems, and deployment pipelines.
  • Strong planning, coordination, and risk management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with release automation tools and scripting would be considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP would be considered an asset.
  • Previous experience in fintech or other regulated environments would be considered an asset.
  • Languages required: English and Greek, both written and verbal.
