• Act as a trusted legal advisor to teams across Fig on commercial, product, privacy, consumer, technology, marketing, and operational matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including SaaS agreements, vendor and service provider agreements, NDAs, partnership agreements, and other business-critical contracts.
• Provide practical legal advice on product and business initiatives, including issues relating to consumer lending, privacy, disclosures, customer communications, vendor management, and digital financial services.
• Advise on privacy and data matters, including data use, consent, retention, vendor arrangements, and privacy-by-design considerations.
• Advise on the responsible use of AI and emerging technologies across the business, including legal, privacy, governance, and risk considerations.
• Develop and improve contract templates, playbooks, policies, and practical guidance that help the business operate and scale efficiently and consistently.

• Help build and launch Fig’s next generation of financial products, playing a key role in the company’s expansion into new product areas.
• Work closely with senior leadership to shape product strategy, launch plans, operational models, and execution priorities for new initiatives.
• Take ambiguous ideas and turn them into scalable customer experiences, systems, processes, and operational workflows.
• Lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives across internal teams including Product, Engineering, CX, Compliance, Credit, Fraud, and Marketing, as well as external vendors and development partners.
• Coordinate closely with external development teams and implementation partners to drive execution and ensure high-quality delivery.
• Design customer journeys, operational processes, support models, and launch frameworks with a focus on scalability, speed, customer experience, and operational resilience.
• Build the foundations needed to scale new products successfully, including tooling, reporting, governance, vendor operations, and internal processes.
• Identify operational risks, edge cases, and execution gaps early, then work hands-on with stakeholders across the business to solve them pragmatically.
• Use data, customer insights, experimentation, and emerging tools to validate assumptions, guide prioritization, and improve outcomes over time.
• Create clear documentation, decision frameworks, and executive-ready materials that help teams align and move quickly.
• Contribute directly to key product, operational, and go-to-market decisions as Fig expands into new product areas.

• Create and direct the credit risk roadmap to safely steer Fig’s high-growth portfolio through changing economic cycles.
• Use predictive modeling and data mining to find the "sweet spot" between growth and portfolio quality.
• Manage client acquisition and management strategies, risk segmentations, predictive models, pre-qualified offer targeting, loss forecasting, loss mitigation, and portfolio monitoring.
• Identify opportunities to leverage digital signals, automation and AI to revolutionize risk scoring and investigative workflows.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure the seamless implementation and real-time monitoring of automated adjudication logic.
• Standardize documentation, refine Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and mentor a results-oriented team of analysts.
