About the role
- Key contributor on an experienced Agile data engineering team focused on building data-driven cybersecurity solutions
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines and integrations that support critical metrics and analytics across cloud, on-premises, and SaaS platforms
- Collaborate with product leaders to ensure engineering efforts align with business priorities
- Write, test, deploy, and maintain custom code and integrations to make cybersecurity data accessible and actionable
- Improve data flows to uncover insights that strengthen the bank’s overall security posture
- Contribute to good data engineering and handling practices and exercise SOLID coding design
- Prepare and run automated tests and participate in integrated Peer Review (PR) process for code changes
- Participate in Agile ceremonies: story writing, estimation, sprint planning, retrospectives, and standups
- Establish working relationships with other teams that support data insights and metrics
- Participate in team quality practices to ensure long term sustainability and maintainability

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or comparable / relevant experience
- Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including, but not limited to: Python, C/C++, C#, or Go
- Experience with databases and SQL
- Ability to write readable and complete test code at unit through integration levels
- AWS experience with modern serverless and hybrid patterns
- Belief that infrastructure should be deployed as code
- Desire to learn and ability to connect with team members to solve technical challenges
- Experience with SAS and PowerShell is a plus
- Experience with PowerBI or similar technology is a plus
- Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes/Openshift are pluses
