About the role

Key contributor on an experienced Agile data engineering team focused on building data-driven cybersecurity solutions
Design and develop scalable data pipelines and integrations that support critical metrics and analytics across cloud, on-premises, and SaaS platforms
Collaborate with product leaders to ensure engineering efforts align with business priorities
Write, test, deploy, and maintain custom code and integrations to make cybersecurity data accessible and actionable
Improve data flows to uncover insights that strengthen the bank’s overall security posture
Contribute to good data engineering and handling practices and exercise SOLID coding design
Prepare and run automated tests and participate in integrated Peer Review (PR) process for code changes
Participate in Agile ceremonies: story writing, estimation, sprint planning, retrospectives, and standups
Establish working relationships with other teams that support data insights and metrics
Participate in team quality practices to ensure long term sustainability and maintainability
Other duties as assigned

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or comparable / relevant experience
Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including, but not limited to: Python, C/C++, C#, or Go
Experience with databases and SQL
Ability to write readable and complete test code at unit through integration levels
AWS experience with modern serverless and hybrid patterns
Belief that infrastructure should be deployed as code
Desire to learn and ability to connect with team members to solve technical challenges
Experience with SAS and PowerShell is a plus
Experience with PowerBI or similar technology is a plus
Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes/Openshift are pluses
