About the role
- Develop and support the enterprise security tools for cloud environments.
- Participate in a diverse variety of IS projects and support ongoing operations of the Information Security department.
- Focus on securing the Bank's cloud environments (public & hybrid) through custom and 3rd party tools.
- Implement and maintain new features and capabilities while continuously improving the quality of cloud-based technical products and services.
- Build and share technical expertise with Agile team and other members of the organization.
- Follow industry and organizational best practices and standards, and participate in company communities of practice.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Automate processes and create maintainable, supportable, and testable solutions to achieve operational excellence.
- Provide operational support and troubleshooting for team’s products and services.
- Maintain appropriate controls and documentation to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of related experience; 1+ years experience in a hands-on information security development role preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency with a scripting or coding language, preferably Python.
- Must be able to communicate ideas both verbally and in writing to management, business and IT sponsors, and technical resources in language that is appropriate for each group.
- Experience with RESTful APIs (preferred).
- Experience working in Agile methodologies and development (preferred).
- Demonstrated understanding of Infrastructure as Code best practices and experience with building Terraform modules (preferred).
- Working knowledge of application and data security concepts, best practices, and common vulnerabilities (preferred).
- Industry Standard Certifications (such as, but not limited to): AWS Security Specialty, AWS Solution Architect associate, CompTIA Security +, ISC2 CISSP, and SANS (preferred).
- Master's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred).
- Experience in the Financial industry (preferred).
