About the role
- Assist in the execution of financial analysis and business improvement
- Support capital adequacy processes, including Comprehensive Capital Analysis & Review (CCAR)
- Assist in the coordination of Fifth Third's capital planning processes
- Provide value-added analysis and process improvement recommendations
- Perform maintenance on existing schedules and reports
- Prepare and analyze reports for all lines of business and affiliates
- Establish and maintain working relationships with Finance, Risk and LOB personnel
- Support process improvement initiatives within capital planning
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- MBA, CFA or CPA preferred
- Knowledge of GAAP strongly desired
- Zero to two years of accounting or finance related experience
- Proficient with MS-Windows and other related PC applications
- Desire and ability to learn automated data analysis tools and techniques
- Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work individually and as a team member
- Ability to maintain professional composure in a dynamic work environment
