About the role

  • Provide leadership for the Foreign Exchange (FX), Commodities, and Interest Rate Derivatives business.
  • Oversee client strategy, revenue growth, and risk management while guiding a high-performing team of Principals, Associates, and Analysts.
  • Create and maintain a dynamic client portfolio review process to identify strategic clients and optimize coverage.
  • Develop a semi-annual process to elevate high-value clients and reallocate low-touch clients to EFX or junior sales for development opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal partners and external clients to deliver risk mitigation solutions aligned with client objectives.
  • Partner with Relationship Managers, Credit, Investment Bankers, and Capital Markets teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Create, manage, and prioritize a pipeline of opportunities across multiple product lines.
  • Deliver high-value financial analysis and strategic alternatives to top-tier clients and prospects.
  • Lead development and implementation of a comprehensive client communication strategy.
  • Oversee creation and delivery of customized presentations and related communications.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance at all times and ensure adherence across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA, CFA, CPA strongly preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in financial services, with significant leadership experience in Sales & Trading or Capital Markets.
  • Strong working knowledge of debt underwriting/DCM, industry, competitive, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven track record of originating and closing complex financial transactions.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in driving strategic decisions and team development.
  • Qualified candidates will bring professional proficiency, generally acquired through 10 years of relevant work or internship experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and trading platforms/systems of record.
  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills; mastery of financial modeling and risk analysis.
  • Strong organizational and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-impact projects and lead cross-functional teams.
