About the role

  • Responsible for a portfolio of owned and leased properties in support of business requirements and corporate goals and objectives
  • Develop, lead and administer plans, including financial, within the portfolio in support of occupancy and operational strategies
  • Collaborate with, contribute to and support strategies and initiatives that may be led by others
  • Responsible for the comprehensive occupancy experience of property and portfolio occupants
  • Responsible for effective operational service continuity within their portfolio by applying preferred operational service standards and effective asset preservation planning
  • Inspect properties on a regular basis, identifying deficiencies in services provided, understanding customer needs, and necessary property improvements
  • Manage lease agreements, internal and external
  • Provide timely, candid and constructive performance feedback to employees
  • Develop employees to their fullest potential

Requirements

  • Five years of property management experience requested
  • Successful management of vendors
  • Basic understanding of lease/real estate terms and building operations
  • Property portfolio management for owned and leased across geographically dispersed portfolio consisting of diverse property types
  • Experience in creating and managing operating and capital budgets
  • Possess a strong business acumen
  • Ability to collaborate and work as a team across multiple internal and external functions (HR, IT, Finance, partners and external vendors)
  • Strong project management skills, well organized and able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent analytical, negotiating, problem solving and influencing skills are essential
  • Excellent interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to use all Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access Database
