About the role
- Responsible for a portfolio of owned and leased properties in support of business requirements and corporate goals and objectives
- Develop, lead and administer plans, including financial, within the portfolio in support of occupancy and operational strategies
- Collaborate with, contribute to and support strategies and initiatives that may be led by others
- Responsible for the comprehensive occupancy experience of property and portfolio occupants
- Responsible for effective operational service continuity within their portfolio by applying preferred operational service standards and effective asset preservation planning
- Inspect properties on a regular basis, identifying deficiencies in services provided, understanding customer needs, and necessary property improvements
- Manage lease agreements, internal and external
- Provide timely, candid and constructive performance feedback to employees
- Develop employees to their fullest potential
Requirements
- Five years of property management experience requested
- Successful management of vendors
- Basic understanding of lease/real estate terms and building operations
- Property portfolio management for owned and leased across geographically dispersed portfolio consisting of diverse property types
- Experience in creating and managing operating and capital budgets
- Possess a strong business acumen
- Ability to collaborate and work as a team across multiple internal and external functions (HR, IT, Finance, partners and external vendors)
- Strong project management skills, well organized and able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent analytical, negotiating, problem solving and influencing skills are essential
- Excellent interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to use all Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access Database
