About the role
- Lead a team of iOS engineers and drive mobile engineering efforts for Fieldwire’s apps
- Design, build, and maintain the iOS app in Obj-C and Swift
- Assist in triaging issues and debugging problems using appropriate tools
- Collaborate with team members to refine features based on input from stakeholders
- Work with design and product teams to build high impact features
- Keep up to date with the latest and greatest in iOS development
- Contribute to engineering standards, tooling, and processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in CS or equivalent work experience
- 2-4 Years of Experience working on a production iOS app
- Experience with modern iOS development
- Proficient at writing clean, well-tested, and modular code in Swift
- Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures
- Experience with CoreData, Obj-C, and XCTest frameworks (strongly desired)
- Knowledge of iOS design patterns like MVVM (strongly desired)
- Experience with advanced debugging tools for memory and performance issues (strongly desired)
