About the role

  • Source new business and shape process: drive outbound efforts to build the sales pipeline and support Account Executives
  • Build trust with prospects: educate customer prospects about Fieldguide using internal business cases and speak to value/ROI
  • Be a Fieldguide expert: build expertise across the platform and understand product roadmap, industry drivers, and competitor landscape
  • Improve and iterate continuously: partner with VP of Sales to iterate on sales motion, processes, infrastructure, and collateral
  • Make the perfect handoff: work closely with Account Executives to ensure a smooth transition for sales demo calls
  • Act as first line of communication with prospects: research leads, kick off new relationships, and set closers up for success

Requirements

  • Team player, mission-first
  • Hands on BDR experience researching strategic leads, qualifying them and handing them off to an Account Executive
  • Intrinsically motivated to exceed goals, proven track record of success
  • Obsessed with finding qualified leads and bringing new customers to Fieldguide
  • Bonus: industry knowledge of assurance and advisory services, preferably with exposure to cybersecurity or regulatory standards
  • Double bonus: 6-12 months in a sales role
  • Based in Denver, CO and able to work a minimum of three in-office days per week
