About the role
- Lead a portfolio of moderate to high complexity vendors across Enterprise Technology.
- Collaborate with ET Business partners to support their goals and initiatives while ensuring external vendors are accountable through contract compliance.
- Provide oversight to a portfolio of vendors with moderate to strategic complexity.
- Support development of tools and processes to effectively collect, analyze and report vendor metrics.
- Lead all aspects of measuring and reporting vendor performance relative to contracted expectations, including Service Level Agreements.
- Seek out and execute on cost reduction opportunities across your portfolio.
- Support funding processes, including purchase order creation & tracking, reporting and associated governance reviews.
- Maintain deep knowledge of the relationship's overall risk profile and contribute to the resolution of risk-related events.
- Coordinate activities related to procurement such as market scans, RFPs, contract and vendor negotiations; ensure progress, approvals & timely completion.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent (and relevant) experience.
- 5 plus years of relevant experience in Vendor Management, Procurement or Risk related roles.
- Excellent communicator and strong facilitator, able to influence others and interact with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to independently drive and manage multiple vendor engagements with varying complexity, with minimal oversight.
- Strong organizational skills; manage multiple projects or activities simultaneously and deliver results in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ability to foster and improve partnerships with peers, leaders, vendors and other partners.
- Strong background or experience with Vendor Management and Procurement processes.
