About the role

  • Lead a portfolio of moderate to high complexity vendors across Enterprise Technology.
  • Collaborate with ET Business partners to support their goals and initiatives while ensuring external vendors are accountable through contract compliance.
  • Provide oversight to a portfolio of vendors with moderate to strategic complexity.
  • Support development of tools and processes to effectively collect, analyze and report vendor metrics.
  • Lead all aspects of measuring and reporting vendor performance relative to contracted expectations, including Service Level Agreements.
  • Seek out and execute on cost reduction opportunities across your portfolio.
  • Support funding processes, including purchase order creation & tracking, reporting and associated governance reviews.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of the relationship's overall risk profile and contribute to the resolution of risk-related events.
  • Coordinate activities related to procurement such as market scans, RFPs, contract and vendor negotiations; ensure progress, approvals & timely completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent (and relevant) experience.
  • 5 plus years of relevant experience in Vendor Management, Procurement or Risk related roles.
  • Excellent communicator and strong facilitator, able to influence others and interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to independently drive and manage multiple vendor engagements with varying complexity, with minimal oversight.
  • Strong organizational skills; manage multiple projects or activities simultaneously and deliver results in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Ability to foster and improve partnerships with peers, leaders, vendors and other partners.
  • Strong background or experience with Vendor Management and Procurement processes.
