About the role

  • Manage fiber network projects from market definition through activation and full deployment
  • Assist teams with defining and reviewing project requirements, scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Support project teams through planning, execution, monitoring and controlling of each market’s build schedule; ensuring accuracy to regular forecasting cadences
  • Apply and track changes control processes through the market build lifecycle
  • Communicate project expectations, status, issues, and risks to team members and stakeholders, including visually representing the work and tracking progress
  • Create and track meaningful metrics to determine program health and success
  • Communicate market build statuses and risk mitigation plans to all levels of leadership
  • Facilitate daily meetings for all parties involved in a project to ensure objectives are met
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project
  • Escalate issues that cannot be resolved in a timely manner
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate project team members in a positive, collaborative manner
  • Oversee existing processes & policies and implement enhancements to optimize processes while delivering high-quality projects.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years leading network projects in the telecommunications industry
  • Minimum 2 years of project management experience in fiber construction
  • Proven track record with fiber network builds and telecom infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of fiber construction processes, including permitting, fiber cutover (CX), and QA standards
  • Familiarity with PMO methodologies and large-scale telecom buildouts
  • Proficient in Salesforce SiteTracker for project tracking
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Extensive experience managing vendors, subcontractors, and third-party partners in telecom projects
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify issues, and provide solutions
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to thrive in a fully remote work environment.
