About the role
- Prospect, call, and email independent pet retailers, boutiques, vets, doggy daycares, and specialty stores to pitch the Fi Mini retail program and close new partners
- Manage inbound leads and move prospects through a structured sales pipeline, from first touch to onboarding
- Run virtual walkthroughs and onboarding sessions to set partners up for success
- Maintain clean, accurate CRM records and consistently hit monthly sales targets
- Visit retailers in your territory to build long-term relationships and act as the on-the-ground face of Fi Mini
- Support merchandising, signage, and display placement to drive in-store visibility and sell-through
- Train store associates on how to confidently sell Fi Mini
- Host small in-store events, demos, or pop-ups at retail locations and dog-friendly venues
- Gather retailer feedback to improve the program and identify high-performing partners with strong growth potential
Requirements
- Strong sales instincts and the ability to build rapport quickly, both over the phone and in person
- Confidence owning the full sales cycle, from outreach and close to onboarding and partner support
- Comfort balancing outbound selling, field visits, merchandising support, and in-person events within one role
- Genuine interest in pets and a solid understanding of how pet parents think and buy
- Organized, pipeline-driven approach with experience managing multiple accounts and priorities
- Ownership mindset with the drive to grow and defend a defined territory
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and adapt as the business evolves
- Bonus: experience in field or retail sales, familiarity with CRM tools, comfort with merchandising or demos, and interest in using AI tools to improve workflow
