About the role

  • Prepare internal and monthly financial statements
  • Conduct operational financial analyses and budgetary monitoring
  • Participate in evaluating sales financial performance (volume, products, geography, margin, etc.)
  • Respond to requests from various Finance and Control teams within the Festo Group
  • Assist in year-end close documentation and the preparation of the annual budget
  • Develop, maintain, and ensure compliance with internal controls
  • Collaborate on the full month-end accounting cycle (maximum 3 days)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and 3–4 years of relevant experience (manufacturing environment is an asset)
  • Other combinations of education and experience deemed relevant will be considered
  • Strong command of English (spoken and written) (collaboration with international colleagues)
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail, autonomy, and initiative
  • Excellent ability to collaborate with various departments
  • Good communication skills and flexibility in dealing with unexpected situations
  • Asset: Knowledge of an ERP system (SAP or equivalent)
