Own specification generation, design, and analysis of process equipment for well pad facilities (gathering systems, sand management and solid handling systems, pump headers, pressure relief devices, well testing facilities and commissioning skids for flowback and startup)
Lead and participate in HAZOPs, operability & constructability reviews, and process safety assessments to ensure safe, reliable, and cost effective well pad facilities
Drive first-principles tradeoff analysis across brine gathering system to optimize system performance
Identify opportunities to simplify and accelerate designs while maintaining technical excellence
Inform and support procurement efforts relating to well pad facilities scopes
Demonstrate extreme ownership by taking responsibility for cost, safety, and constructability in addition to design
Work with urgency and resilience, embracing rapid iteration and maintaining high performance under pressure
Collaborate closely across disciplines (electrical, mechanical, reservoir, drilling, construction) as well as with external partners to drive integrated solutions
Contribute to a culture of technical excellence and accountability, modeling the values that define a world-class engineering team.
Requirements
B.S. or M.S. in Chemical Engineering or related discipline
4+ years of experience in process engineering on large capital projects, preferably involving upstream well sites, gathering systems, and production infrastructure
Hands-on experience designing and commissioning well field surface facilities, including brine gathering systems, with exposure to start-up and field troubleshooting
Proven ability to execute design, analysis, and field support for complex processes within multidisciplinary project teams
Strong communication skills; with the ability to clearly convey technical information and collaborate effectively across engineering, operations, and external partners.
