About the role

  • Overseeing and actively managing Fervo’s portfolio of private capital facilities across the full project and corporate lifecycle
  • Ensuring that financing structures are executed, governed, and optimized from initial construction through operations, refinancings, amendments, and long-term portfolio optimization
  • Working hands-on with lenders, equity partners, and internal stakeholders to manage construction-period execution risk and maintain compliance
  • Preparing analyses and materials to support project-level decisions and ensuring structures are administered in accordance with governing agreements and strategic objectives
  • Building and managing a small, high-performing portfolio management team

Requirements

  • 7+ years’ experience in project finance, infrastructure finance, energy investing, asset management, or structured finance
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, engineering, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with project finance debt during construction, including loan draws, CPs, lender consents, and compliance management
  • Proven ability to manage external relationships with lenders, equity partners, and advisors while coordinating across internal technical and commercial teams
  • Demonstrated experience operating across the full asset lifecycle, including construction, early operations, and refinancings
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and execution skills, with comfort operating in highly technical, multi-stakeholder environments.
