About the role
- Lead cultural change and drive the plant HR strategy meeting established milestones
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues; conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations under the leadership of the local HR Manager
- Lead & coordinate the new hire experience: Lead the orientation experience at the highest level delivering engaging, high energy and interactive orientation sessions
- Lead employee engagement: Lead the Engagement Committee driving membership to meet established goals
- Lead Performance Management: Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management
- Drive Fill Rate for hourly positions to meet established target
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention
- Assist in creation and facilitation of management training programs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- PHR or SHRM-CP designation or master’s degree strongly preferred
- Minimum 5 years in an HR role in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
- Strong competency in Microsoft Suite including Excel, Word, PPT required
- AI knowledge driving HR efficiency strongly preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred not required
