About the role
- Conduct prompt, fair, impartial, and thorough investigations into claims of potential workplace misconduct
- Conduct investigatory interviews and collect relevant evidence
- Write investigation reports and deliver debriefs with relevant partners
- Document investigative efforts internally using a case management system
- Work with HR Business Partners and managers to handle ER issues
- Partner with HR teams, legal counsel, security partners and business leaders
- Conduct ongoing HR training and guidance for managers and associates
- Ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, or related work experience
- 2-5 years’ experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations, risk mitigation, management consulting, and investigations
- Deep understanding of federal and state employment laws
- Proficiency in conducting thorough investigations, including interviewing techniques, document review, and evidence gathering
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical abilities to evaluate information and assess credibility
- Ability to build rapport and establish credibility
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards during investigations
- Ability to travel up to 25% required
