About the role
- Lead and support event planning from concept to completion
- Collaborate with BD on guest list strategy, event content, and ROI analysis
- Ensure events are delivered on time, on brand, and within budget
- Innovate and refine existing programs; propose new event strategies to enhance engagement and streamline processes
- Track and report on metrics to measure success and improve outcomes
- Partner with attorneys and BD to plan client appreciation and relationship-building events
- Support budget tracking, ROI reporting, and strategic alignment for client-hosted events
- Support Events Manager with budget oversight, including invoice processing and vendor management
- Participate in team-wide initiatives and special projects as assigned
Requirements
- 5+ years of event planning or marketing experience in a fast-paced professional services environment
- Bachelor’s degree required (Marketing, Communications, Business or related field preferred)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation and contract management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with marketing/event platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, Splash, ClickUp and event management tools
- Collaborative mindset with a client-service orientation
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and highly organized
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Strong judgment, professionalism, and sense of discretion
