About the role
- Own the end-to-end order lifecycle from ERP sales order entry through delivery confirmation and invoice readiness (SW/HW/CARES).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer projects involving multiple purchase orders and sales orders.
- Ensure all orders tied to a project are aligned, tracked, and delivered according to customer commitments.
- Maintain centralized visibility into order status, milestones, and dependencies.
- Validate order completeness and delivery confirmation to trigger accurate and timely invoicing by Finance.
- Oversee sales order handoff process post–purchase order entry, ensuring system accuracy and proper documentation in ERP/Costpoint.
- Ensure customer ship-to information and order details are accurate in company systems prior to fulfillment execution.
- Communicate shipment timing and order status updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Identify risks to delivery timelines and proactively escalate or coordinate resolution across teams.
- Partner with Logistics to align order priorities, inventory availability, and expected ship dates.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between Sales, Logistics, Finance, and Operations.
- Drive process improvements within the order-to-cash workflow to improve accuracy, transparency, and customer experience.
- Perform other duties within job scope as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Program Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, logistics, or relevant professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program/project management, warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment operations.
- Ability to manage many simultaneous small and high turnover projects
- Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
- Experience with logistics operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft office
- Proficiency in ERP Systems such as Deltek Costpoint, SAP, etc.
- Data analysis and reporting skills
- Strong communication, cross functional collaboration abilities and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of the work and customer requirements.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance.
- Professional certifications such as PMP or CAPM preferred.
- Experience supporting government contracts or regulated environments preferred.
