Work within a collaborative team that provides FCC’s data users with access to the right tools, technology and data through AWS
Manage AWS resources, ingest new data, provision access and enhance the efficiency and stability of data pipelines
Design and deliver hands-on training sessions, develop and update materials, and lead training activities as needed

Requirements

A degree in computer science or software engineering
Minimum two years of experience in software engineering practices (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
Experience with data engineering tools, platforms and approaches
Experience building infrastructure as code (AWS CloudFormation)
Functional programming experience
Experience with data modelling, data warehouse building and creating data access layer
Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies and concepts
Ability to map legacy tools and technologies to modern AWS solutions
Experience with Informatica or any ETL tool
Experience with data observability and tools like DataHUB
Experience with Data Vault 2.0
