About the role

  • Coordinate and review monthly and annual accounting closings (BR GAAP / IFRS, when applicable)
  • Ensure correct accounting for: holdings and investees; intercompany loans, capital contributions and dividends; business combinations, conversion of foreign investees, equity method and consolidation
  • Prepare and review financial statements, explanatory notes and management reports
  • Serve as the main technical contact for external audits
  • Coordinate tax routines (ISS, PIS/COFINS, IRPJ, CSLL), ensuring: accurate calculation; timely ancillary filings; adherence to applicable legislation
  • Assess tax impacts of corporate transactions, reorganizations and new investments
  • Support the group's tax structuring together with external advisors
  • Support adaptation to tax reform
  • Coordinate internal team and external BPOs of the investee companies
  • Define and monitor SLAs, KPIs and closing schedules
  • Standardize processes across investee companies
  • Support the structuring of the area aimed at growth, M&A or IPO preparation

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting (active CRC registration)
  • Solid experience in accounting and tax
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud
  • Experience with corporate groups / holdings / multiple legal entities (multiple CNPJs)
  • Strong knowledge of period-end closing, reconciliations and tax compliance
  • Experience in Private Equity / Venture Capital environments
  • Knowledge of IFRS (especially consolidation and equity method)
  • Experience in ERP implementation or transformation projects
  • Intermediate to advanced English
