About the role
- Architect and implement scalable customer solutions on Fastr Frontend, leveraging HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AI-assisted workflows.
- Take an AI-first approach to problem-solving - designing solutions and using AI tools to accelerate development, data analysis, and experimentation.
- Partner with customers to understand complex business and technical requirements, translating them into performant, maintainable implementations.
- Support and advise customers on analytics, experimentation, and A/B testing strategies using Fastr’s upcoming analytics-focused platform.
- Analyze customer data, site performance, and experiment results to surface actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor in customer-facing conversations, confidently speaking to architecture, data, experimentation, and performance.
- Conduct technical investigations, troubleshoot platform issues, and collaborate with internal product and engineering teams to drive resolution.
- Review and optimize customer implementations for Core Web Vitals, SEO impact, and front-end performance.
- Contribute to internal best practices, documentation, and solution patterns as the Solutions Engineering function continues to mature.
- Mentor junior team members and help elevate the overall technical and consultative bar of the SE team.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Technical Consultant, or similar customer-facing technical role.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience architecting and reviewing front-end solutions.
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools (including ChatGPT or similar) to design, evaluate, and implement technical solutions.
- Experience working with analytics platforms, experimentation tools, or A/B testing frameworks - or the ability to confidently speak to these concepts.
- Comfort translating data into insights and using those insights to inform strategy and customer recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills - able to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving instincts and the ability to think holistically about systems, performance, and long-term scalability.
- Experience using browser developer tools for debugging, performance analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Bonus points for experience with ecommerce platforms such as SFCC, Magento, Hybris, Shopify, or BigCommerce.
- Bonus points for prior experience in high-growth SaaS or platform-focused environments.
