About the role
- Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their data needs.
- Transform raw data into clean, organized, and analytics-ready datasets using SQL, Python, or other relevant languages.
- Contribute to data workflow including data ingestion, transformation, modeling, and validation to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Utilizes modern data tools and technologies such as dbt, Airflow, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Clearly communicates complex technical concepts and data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors (BS/BA) or Masters (MS/MA) degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics or Computer Science.
- Must be a student enrolled in an accredited college during the duration of the internship.
- Specifically, a rising Junior or Senior level undergraduate student or graduate student.
- Ability to manipulate and analyze data to address and solve business problems.
- Familiarity with data manipulation using SQL, Python, or similar languages.
- Preferred but not required: proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- A passion for learning and development.
- Willingness to independently learn and make an impact within a team environment.
- Self-motivated, an excellent problem solver and a quick learner.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
