Plans, directs, develops, and coordinates all sales related activities to accomplish revenue goals and market penetration for the assigned zone.
Also responsible for the attainment of overall department objectives.
Acts as the agent advocate for recommending appropriate new products, services and field initiatives.
Coordinates field facing activities, programs and promotions and works with all appropriate personnel to ensure business unit needs and desired objectives are met.
Driving sales and profit execution within an assigned geographic territory through coordinated strategic alignments.
Requirements
Proven success in sales leadership (7–10 years), preferably in insurance or a comparable industry.
Commercial insurance experience (1–3 years preferred).
Strong communication, influence, and relationship-building skills.
A growth mindset with a bias for action and accountability.
Bachelor's degree required.
Attainment of or actively pursuing a major insurance designation preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to secure 'buy-in' and convince others regarding best approach.
Goal oriented team player with a positive attitude.
Excellent time management skills.
Strong relationship building.
