Drive expansion of logistics capabilities in systems and processes, learning best practices and implementing new technology or processes
Physically support the Primary Fulfillment Center and remotely support Logistics Centers within the region
Coordinate workflows from inbound to outbound across warehouse operations
Create tools and use analytics to bridge visibility gaps in inbound/outbound volume flows using SQL, Tableau, Excel, and/or Google Suite
Plan and confirm inbound and outbound appointments with understanding of TMS and dock scheduling tools
Document and partner with external carriers and internal teams around discrepancies to improve on-time metrics
Support regional and site leadership with day-of plans, escalations, and project tracking
Support daily cycle count through virtual setup in WMS and manage intercompany transfer orders (ICTO and TOs)
Track, verify, communicate, and escalate gaps between established plans and actual execution per site
Identify “at risk” customer orders and escalate to Transportation, Supply Chain Execution, and Customer Experience teams
Lead documentation of current-state and future-state business process requirements including data flows, configurations, and reporting needs
Define, coordinate, and project manage operational improvements balancing time-to-implement and solution sophistication (e.g., MVPs)
Develop exception reporting to highlight key risk areas and provide KPI visibility
Identify opportunities to increase automation, simplify, and standardize fulfillment processes
Act as a cross-functional team player and thought leader partnering with deployment, warehousing, customer experience, and transportation teams
Work evenings, weekends, and additional hours as necessary during the spring agricultural peak season
Requirements
4 year degree in Operations Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or 4+ years of experience in a similar role and function within a Warehouse setting
Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management, product management or hands-on strategic roles involving technology in operations
Strong data analysis and coding skills including experience in SQL, Redshift, and/or Python or strong experience in data organizing platforms such as Excel & Google Sheets
Experience creating visualizations through Tableau, Data Studios or other user facing platforms
Proficiency in using WMS/TMS/ERP systems is mandatory
Familiarity with transportation modes, including LTL, truckload, and intermodal
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Willingness to travel up to 5-10% as required, including potential international travel
Preferred: Minimum of 2 years or more of relevant shipping/receiving/admin experience
Preferred: Lean, APICS, or Six Sigma Certified
Preferred: Inventory control experience
Preferred: Forklift experience
Preferred: Solutions oriented, high attention to detail, problem solving with a focus on technology
Preferred: Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing demands in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines
