About the role

Deliver engineering work on client-facing services and consulting projects, contributing directly to outcomes related to data pipelines, platform deployments, observability, and infrastructure modernization
Build internal tools, frameworks, and automations that reduce delivery friction and accelerate the onboarding, monitoring, and support of client environments
Collaborate with Platform Services and Engineering team to develop and evolve delivery playbooks, onboarding guides, and platform best practices
Evaluate and implement new technologies that enhance platform resiliency, delivery velocity, and engineering consistency
Aimpoint Digital is a fast-growing and fully remote data and analytics consultancy partnering with modern data engineering software providers

3-5 years of experience in data engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or a similar technical discipline
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent experience
Consulting experience a plus
Experience working directly with clients or technical stakeholders
Proficiency in scripting and automation (SQL, Python, or similar)
Experience with modern cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift)
Familiarity with alerting, monitoring, and CI/CD best practices
Experience using cloud-native ETL/ELT and orchestration tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working in evolving, ambiguous environments with a high degree of ownership
A detail-oriented, process-driven mindset with a commitment to quality and operational improvement
