About the role
- Analyse authorisation rates, declines, retries, recovery, and issuer responses
- Investigate performance patterns across regions, payment methods, and user journeys
- Surface trends, anomalies, and root causes in payment outcomes
- Support experimentation through A/B test design, analysis, and interpretation
- Build and maintain trusted dashboards for core payments KPIs
- Monitor performance and proactively flag risks or optimisation opportunities
- Deliver clear, actionable insights to senior stakeholders
Requirements
- Experience in an analytical role within payments, fintech, e-commerce, or a related domain
- Strong analytical mindset with advanced SQL skills; Python is a plus
- Comfortable working with large datasets, dashboards, and performance metrics
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving instincts
- Able to communicate complex insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Comfortable managing multiple analyses in parallel
- Motivated to deepen your expertise in payments and optimisation
