About the role

  • Ensures consistent application and adherence to all organizational policies, procedures, and programs to promote compliance and operational excellence.
  • Maintains accurate and confidential HR records, ensuring data integrity within all HR systems.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Provides support to payroll functions by reviewing timekeeping, coordinating compensation changes, and assisting with issue resolution in partnership with the Payroll Manager.
  • Leads and supports employee relations efforts, including conducting workplace investigations, resolving employee concerns, and providing guidance to leadership on complex matters.
  • Conducts stay interviews to proactively assess employee engagement, identify retention risks, and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Performs routine audits of HRIS systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with employee data.
  • Supports additional HR initiatives, projects, and responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
  • Assists with leave administration, partnering with third-party providers to manage FMLA, ADA, and LOA requests, while reviewing cases and supporting compliance and employee needs.
  • Assist with Onboarding and improve the entire employee life cycle.
  • Responds to inquiries submitted through the HR ticketing system, providing timely support and guidance to employees.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of a broad range of employment laws (e.g., FMLA, FLSA, ADA) and applies HR best practices to support compliance and organizational effectiveness.
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
