About the role
- Responsible for the stable operation of the Microsoft 365 tenant, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Exchange Online – from system monitoring to rapid incident resolution.
- Manage user, group and permission structures in line with defined governance policies and clear access rights.
- Develop and maintain consistent standards for Teams templates, SharePoint structures and onboarding processes; efficiently automate recurring tasks using PowerShell and Power Automate.
- Provide technical support for the integration of new sites and entities and carry out smooth data migrations.
- Contribute to the implementation of security policies, sensitivity labels and Purview concepts in close collaboration with Data Protection and the CISO – ensuring compliant and secure use of the platform.
- Produce practical documentation, checklists and guides to support IT teams and end users and actively participate in building internal Microsoft 365 expertise.
- Continuously monitor new Microsoft 365 features, assess their relevance for the company and communicate updates to the affected teams.
Requirements
- Several years of experience administering Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure AD, Exchange Online)
- Proficient in PowerShell, Power Automate & Power Apps
- Knowledge of M365 governance, compliance, sensitivity labels & Purview
- Analytical working style with an eye for technical dependencies
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation
- Strong communication skills with IT, business units & management
- Structured approach to IT operations & change processes
- Experience with Azure, Intune & endpoint management
- Excellent German (C2) and English (C1) skills
