About the role

  • Develop and optimize complex queries using SQL Server;
  • Create and maintain stored procedures, functions, triggers, views and packages;
  • Design and model relational databases, defining table structures, indexes and relationships;
  • Perform query tuning and optimizations to improve performance;
  • Implement indexing and table partitioning strategies;
  • Develop PL/SQL scripts for process automation and data integration;
  • Implement and manage jobs and schedulers for batch data processing;
  • Ensure data consistency, integrity and security;
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for implemented structures and processes;
  • Monitor and troubleshoot database performance and concurrency issues;
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure efficient integration between the database and applications.

Requirements

  • Advanced experience with SQL Server;
  • Proficiency in T-SQL for writing and optimizing code;
  • Knowledge of relational data modeling and normalization;
  • Experience creating and optimizing stored procedures, functions, triggers and views;
  • Skill in performance tuning (execution plan analysis, indexes, partitioning);
  • Experience with ETL processes and handling large volumes of data;
  • Knowledge of database security and permissions;
  • Experience managing transactions and concurrency;
  • Familiarity with monitoring and performance analysis tools;
  • Experience versioning database scripts (Git, SVN, etc.);
  • Knowledge of Azure SQL Database or other cloud solutions;
  • Experience with Power BI, SSIS and SSRS;
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases;
  • Experience with Big Data and Data Warehouse solutions;
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
