About the role

  • YOUR MISSION
  • We are looking for an experienced and visionary Head of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering organization as we build the future of AI-powered digital advertising. You'll take ownership of multiple engineering teams and guide their expansion to over 30 engineers across backend and frontend disciplines. You’ll be responsible for aligning engineering execution with strategic company objectives, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring technical excellence.
  • You’ll work closely with Product, Data, and Tech leadership to shape long-term architecture, operational frameworks, and team structures. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on scaling teams, elevating engineering standards, and driving a forward-thinking, AI-first approach across the organization.
  • The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation, proven success in managing engineering organizations at scale, and a sharp eye for talent, process improvement, and innovation.
  • YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a multi-disciplinary engineering teams of 30+ engineers, including Engineering Managers and Staff Engineers.
  • Define and drive engineering strategy, aligning team goals with business priorities and product roadmaps.
  • Champion an AI-first mindset, embedding AI and automation into product architecture, engineering workflows, and decision-making processes.
  • Partner closely with Product, Data, and tech leadership to co-develop long-term platform vision and technical strategy.
  • Establish clear engineering processes and best practices that promote high code quality, velocity, and operational excellence.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, learning, and continuous improvement across all levels of the engineering org.
  • Identify and address scaling challenges - technical, organizational, and process-related, as the team and platform grow.
  • Drive strategic hiring plans, organizational design, and talent development to support future growth.
  • Oversee budgeting, resourcing, and performance planning for engineering teams.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and drive key platform improvements with an emphasis on reliability, scalability, and security.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in engineering leadership roles.
  • Proven experience leading engineering organizations of 30+ people across multiple teams and domains.
  • Strong technical background with a deep understanding of modern software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling teams, improving processes, and aligning engineering to business outcomes.
  • A clear track record of embedding AI and machine learning into products, platforms, or engineering operations.
  • Deep understanding of agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and quality assurance at scale.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and people management skills - you build trust, drive clarity, and inspire teams.
  • Experience in AdTech, SaaS is a strong plus.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills in high-stakes, high-complexity environments.
