About the role

  • Lead the analysis and production of monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reports
  • Analyze financial results, identify variances and trends, and provide clear explanations and recommendations
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning activities
  • Develop, maintain and enhance financial models to support strategic initiatives and operational decision-making
  • Support cash flow forecasting and working capital management activities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting, operations and other departments to validate financial data and align key business drivers
  • Prepare financial analyses, reports and presentations for senior management
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to increase reporting accuracy, forecasting efficiency and the quality of internal controls
  • Mentor and support junior finance team members, as needed
  • Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field
  • 4 to 6 years' experience in financial analysis, FP&A or a similar role
  • This role requires proficiency in English to communicate with stakeholders outside Québec
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting and financial performance analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel and financial systems
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and clearly present financial analyses
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
