About the role
- Serve as the primary point-of-contact for major SLED accounts
- Maintain high-level executive relationships
- Sell F5’s products and services
- Identify and qualify business opportunities
- Prepare proposals and presentations
- Lead negotiations and close sales
- Manage key partner relationships
- Stay current on industry trends
- Understand customer business needs
- Research and develop lists of potential customers
- Define market strategies and goals
- Lead account strategy and coordinate with sales support teams
- Ensure accurate sales forecasting
Requirements
- 8+ years of direct major enterprise account management experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Specialized knowledge in networking products, preferably F5 solutions
- Experience with internet-related software or systems
- Familiarity with procurement processes and sales cycles in the public sector
