About the role

  • Sell F5’s full suite of products and services—including modern app security, multicloud networking, and AI-enhanced threat detection.
  • Identify and qualify short- and long-term opportunities, prioritizing growth initiatives and compliance-driven digital transformations.
  • Lead compelling proposals and presentations customized for stakeholders, navigating intricate regulatory and procurement processes.
  • Build and sustain strategic partner ecosystems.
  • Maintain precise sales forecasting and pipeline management via CRM tools like Salesforce.
  • Partner with internal teams including Sales Engineering colleagues to craft innovative, compliant, and scalable strategies for financial services clients, leveraging F5’s Distributed Cloud

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of direct experience in strategic account management, with a proven track record in financial services sales-growth including on perm, cloud, and SaaS solutions.
  • BA/BS degree preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial services procurement, contract structures, and compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with networking and cybersecurity products, preferably including F5’s portfolio (BIG-IP, NGINX, Distributed Cloud, Calypso AI / Red Team Guardrails etc.).
  • Exceptional negotiation and closing prowess, honed in highly regulated financial environments.
  • Advanced relationship-building and client-centric mindset.
  • Demonstrated success in selling complex solutions within a collaborative, matrixed organization.
  • Willingness to travel at least 50% and operate from a home office.
