About the role

  • Provide high-level customer service to various municipal organizations, explain insurance coverages and answer questions;
  • Act as an intermediary and maintain regular communication with members and the insurer;
  • Prepare and present service proposals for both existing and prospective members;
  • Present and explain renewals to group administrators;
  • Keep client files up to date according to established standards;
  • Maintain constructive relationships with different client groups;
  • Analyze, understand and identify client needs and propose appropriate solutions;
  • Contribute to new business development;
  • Support technicians in servicing members.

Requirements

  • College diploma in administration, human resources, insurance, or another field related to the role;
  • A combination of an AEC in individual insurance combined with related training may be considered;
  • Valid AMF license in group or individual life and health insurance;
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in group insurance;
  • Excellent command of French, both spoken and written;
  • Good knowledge of common computer tools, including MS Office suite (intermediate Excel);
  • Demonstrated strong customer service orientation, including strong interpersonal skills;
  • Demonstrated discretion, diplomacy and impeccable professionalism;
  • Show empathy, courtesy, patience and adaptability;
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple files simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality and rigor.
