About the role

  • Develop working knowledge of firm level Independence concepts
  • Perform work procedures as laid down in the EYG Independence policies
  • Attain hands-on experience in research/analysis and making updates post review by project managers
  • Help client serving/audit teams in mitigating independence-related risk
  • Perform a review of submissions of documents/requests from client serving teams to evaluate completeness, accuracy of requests raised
  • Communicate with project managers and team members from audit/pursuit teams to perform follow ups for responses and completion of procedures.

Requirements

  • Graduate/Masters/Post-graduate degree (preferably in Finance domain) from a reputed institution
  • 0 – 1 year of experience in research and analysis in a professional services firm
  • Candidates with exposure of handing client interaction would be preferred.
  • Well-developed analytical, interpersonal, and communication (both verbal and written) skills in English
  • Basic understanding of type of company structures, Ownership structures, awareness of auditor Independence and basic risk management concepts.
