Responsible for implementing and managing firewall and network sensing solutions to protect client networks from cyber threats.
Work within a team of cybersecurity professionals to ensure effective security measures are in place.
Deploy, configure, and manage firewall and network sensing solutions to maintain optimal performance and security.
Actively monitor network traffic, analyze security events, and respond to incidents to mitigate risks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall network security posture, complying with industry standards and best practices.
Develop and maintain firewall policies, rules, and documentation to align with best practices and compliance requirements.
Provide support for security audits and assessments, promoting adherence to security standards and policies.
Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies to enhance organization's security posture.
Assist in development and implementation of security awareness training for staff regarding firewall operations and network security best practices.
Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on firewall management and incident response processes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred.
2-3 years of experience in network security operations, with a focus on firewall management.
Strong experience with Checkpoint and Palo Alto Firewall technologies
Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
Experience with technologies such as Checkpoint and Tufin
Experience with security monitoring tools such as Splunk and familiarity with network visibility solutions like Netography.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing systems for incident management.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, Security+) are a plus.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
