About the role

  • Manage EY's Global Incident Response program
  • Coordinate response and management of sensitive incidents across Global functions
  • Support Chief Privacy Officer with cases of strategic importance
  • Communicate the Global Incident Response plan to Member Firms
  • Manage overall Incident Response policy improvement and process alignments
  • Work collaboratively with data protection resources globally

Requirements

  • Legally qualified with a current practicing certificate or legal license
  • 8+ years of experience in private or government legal practice or in-house role
  • Significant focus on data protection in cross-border situations
  • Solid knowledge in EU and international data protection legislation (GDPR)
  • Ideally familiarity with the legislation of one or more other jurisdictions
  • Ideally internationally recognized privacy certification, such as CIPP/E and CIPM
  • Experience in conducting internal investigations, litigation, and data breach response
