About the role
- Manage EY's Global Incident Response program
- Coordinate response and management of sensitive incidents across Global functions
- Support Chief Privacy Officer with cases of strategic importance
- Communicate the Global Incident Response plan to Member Firms
- Manage overall Incident Response policy improvement and process alignments
- Work collaboratively with data protection resources globally
Requirements
- Legally qualified with a current practicing certificate or legal license
- 8+ years of experience in private or government legal practice or in-house role
- Significant focus on data protection in cross-border situations
- Solid knowledge in EU and international data protection legislation (GDPR)
- Ideally familiarity with the legislation of one or more other jurisdictions
- Ideally internationally recognized privacy certification, such as CIPP/E and CIPM
- Experience in conducting internal investigations, litigation, and data breach response
