About the role

  • Providing strategic tax planning recommendations to clients
  • Managing global workforces and advising on the part of business strategy related to people
  • Engaging in complex compliance and advisory work, preparing tax returns, reviewing/signing off
  • Generating revenue through identifying follow-on engagement opportunities and developing lasting relationships with clients
  • Leading workstreams from planning to implementation – managing resources and budgets effectively

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in related field; MST, MAcc or JD/LLM preferred
  • 2-5 years’ relevant experience in expatriate tax: Big 4, global management consultancy firm, niche consultancy or in-house role with exposure to large-scale projects
  • Approved technical certification, CPA license or membership to state Bar or progress to attaining those mentioned
  • An understanding of automated tax-processing systems, as well as tax laws
  • Analytical approach to tax; ability to convert complex data into meaningful strategic insights
  • Willingness to travel as needed, and working in a balanced hybrid environment
